Team 1676 - 2016 Season Recap Video

Team 1676, The Pascack Pi-oneers, proudly presents a video recap of our 2016 season, our best year yet: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6luvO6H3VM

Our team was honored to have many huge moments this year. Our 10th Entrepreneurship Award and 6th Industrial Safety Award, two District wins, our first Regional Chairman's Award since 2009, and Engineering Inspiration Awards at the District, District Championship, and World Championship Division levels. And, our first Dean's List Finalist since 2010, who we're incredibly proud of.

Thanks so much to all of our alliance partners this year, especially our new pals and Mt. Olive alliance captains 1257, our good friends and Bridgewater-Raritan partners 223, and of course the quickest low-goaler in MAR 5624, who helped us win both district events. We couldn't have done it without any of you.

Above all, thank you to all the amazing students, mentors, alumni, parents, sponsors, friends, and other teams for the continued support and dedication. This season wouldn't have been possible otherwise.

Special shout-out to Mr. Kloberg - I've heard stories of how you were there when our team first started back in December of 2004, and we were honored to have you there on the Edward Jones Dome floor with us when we were called up to be awarded EI this year. We're all extremely happy to have you by our side cheering us on every step of the way. Thank you for everything.

Re: Team 1676 - 2016 Season Recap Video

Cool video – great intro, outro, and song choice. Video quality could be improved at events (like horizontal filming, high-quality camera, holding the camera still, etc.) but the editing was good for the footage that you did have

Congrats on your best season yet!

Hm, think that had anything to do with me leaving?

Yes, it is still a great day to be a Pi-O-Neer.

And I was there: Paul Kloberg WAS indeed there at the very beginning. He was FIRST Senior Mentor at the time. Ask Paspalas.

Re: Team 1676 - 2016 Season Recap Video

I really like the video. Team 1257 immensely enjoyed working with 1676. We were very fortunate we could pick you; your robot was the perfect choice to round off our alliance.

This year, after streaming most of two of their competitions (MO and BR) and attending a third (MAR Champs), I've been continuously impressed by 1676, from our win together at Mount Olive during Week 1 to winning EI at the division level. I've even had the pleasure of mentoring 2791 with one of your alumni, Max Llewellyn. Your team has had a fantastic season and has much to be proud of.

Congratulations on your best year yet. I look forward to seeing what your team accomplishes next and competing with you again at Brunswick Eruption.

A huge congratulations to our friends at 1676 on a fantastic season! You are extremely deserving of all of your accolades this year. It was great to work alongside of you throughout the entire season, and really sweet to win our first blue banner with you. Keep pushing the envelope and hopefully soon enough you will be HOF.
