Best computer game specs

I'm starting this thread because I am currently a little (more) neurotic. I jusr reinstalled Need For Speed: High Stakes on my new computer, now that I've upgraded it to 512 MB SDRAM, a Pentium III 45o Mhz processor, and a few other things, and it's INSANE! I used to run it on 96 MB RAM, and it worked; I could see where I was driving (usually), and it didn't choke much. Now, with the new comp, I can run this game on FULL GRAPHICS (we're talking fog, lens flare, full horizon/view distance, 1024 x 800 resolution, the works) and it still runs at about 50 frames per second. It doesn't end there, nooooo, the graphics themselves are beautiful, even for such a relatively old game. Who else has a computer game that runs very fast and very efficiently?

I used to play Counter-strike on software mode, then I was enlighted. I cant begin to say how cool it is to see half the terrorist team appear through a smoke grenade's screen.

Man I wish I had the patience you do. I sometimes get a little mad at my P4- 1.7ghz and GeForce 2 MX 400. I'm still running the traditional 512 mb of PC 133 SDRam.
