I can confirm this as well. We used 3 last year on a dual pro and it was more than enough. Granted, Recycle Rush was not as demanding on batteries as Stronghold. However, with more teams competing this year yo can expect longer turn around times which will provide more time for batteries to charge between uses.
On another note, last year CUYRA provided transformers for all the pits, not sure if they're planning on doing this again this year or not.
It is not necessary to draw 200 amps to move a robot through a two minute match. Rule of thumb is you robot should be able to compete for three matches without a battery change. - Al Skierkiewicz [more]
