However, one stands out to me time and time again. 2052, KnightKrawler from Irondale HS in New Brighton. Prior to 2012, 2052 had won a couple of team awards and made the elims in 2011 at the Lake Superior Regional.

In 2012 things started to change as they made the Finals at Lake Superior and won the EE award. From then on they have been on a great run. Here is what they have accomplished since 2012 (from what I could mine from TBA and from my own memory):

(1) Regional Chairmans Award This in a state where we have a LOT of great CA competition at our Regionals from inside and out!
(1) Einstein Appearance
(3) State Championships (most in MN)
(1) MSHSL State Tournament - Runners-up
(5) Regional Wins
(5) Regional Finalist
(2) Engineering Excellence
(2) Innovation in Control
(1) Gracious Professionalism
(1) Industrial Design
(1) Quality Award

They are in a class of their own in Minnesota!
The quality of play has dramaticly increased in MN over the last couple of years. I can't wait to see more teams make a name for themselves outside of the ones already mentioned in your post. BTW 4607 is pretty good too. You guys were the motivating factor for us when we declined the 2nd seed alliance at state.

4607 went from being a robot with a blocker on that was picked for defense at the North Star Regional in 2013 and MN State Championship in 2013, to being ranked 2nd at the MN State Championship in 2014 and getting 2nd place that year because of their phenomenal truss shot robot. During this year, their robot was one of the most feared defenders out there capable of shutting down us, 359, 5172, etc. and their team also won their first ever chairman's award this season.. young teams winning RCA is rare and 4607 worked hard and did it this year which is impressive considering they went against 2169, 2826, 2194, etc in chairman's at that regional. They were even picked as a defender in the Carver division and were quarter-finalists which is impressive for such a young team.
