[FF]: Gauging Interest in Fantasy FiM

I quit playing Fantasy FIRST a few years ago when the number of drafts started getting out of control. Even with the introduction of district-wide drafting, there's simply too many teams to keep up with. I'm curious whether there would be interest in Michigan-specific Fantasy FRC.

It would run like a traditional fantasy league. Each player drafts X teams. They're matched up against another player each week and must select some number of their teams to play. The performances of the teams they played gives some number of points, and the player who get more points from their teams wins. The players with the best win/loss records at the end of a regular season match up against each other to determine who is the overall champion.

Right now, I'm thinking a 6-player league where each player drafts 10 teams and plays 2 each week (or 15 & 3).* The draft would occur in late December (so that we know which teams are playing which weeks). The first 5 weeks of competition season would be a round robin, with the top two going up against each other in week 6.** We'd use the district point system, perhaps with extra points for the RAS, EI, and Chairman's Awards. Waivers and schedule would be like a regular fantasy league.***

Would you be interested in joining such a league? Any thoughts, questions, comments, concerns, suggestions, etc. on the ruleset?

*In a well-sized fantasy league, there are good teams that are free agents.
**Not sure how well this would play out. It would probably be better to do the playoff at MSC because then the winner is determined by overall quality of their teams, not the quality of the team who happen to play week 6. Open to suggestions on how to make the scheduling work fairly.
***Dropped teams go into waivers, all FAs that play go into waivers, waivers get processed probably Tuesday mornings, players must select teams to play by Thursday evening
