Attempting to configure 2015 D-Link Radio
Hello,
We've noticed that we have a few spare D-Link DAP1522's lying around and we're thinking of putting them to good use. The problem is, we can't figure out a way to configure them properly. The software that's needed comes with the 2014 Update (according to this guide) but the link to download the update has already been removed. Has anyone ran into this issue? Or would anyone by chance have the Bridge Configuration Utility still on their computer? Thanks. |

This link should have all the information you need. Make sure you select the DAP-1522 instead of the Open Mesh radio.

Thank you. I didn't think that there would be an option for that on the new software.

Re: Attempting to configure 2015 D-Link Radio
It is just a wireless router. It is an useful exercise to teach your programmers something about Ethernet. So if the utility isn't working for you, download the manual from Dlink. If you don't know the current IP address of the router, reset it to the default following instructions in the manual. Program it using the router's website and your favorite browser. One quirky thing about the B series is bridge mode has a separate set of parameters from AP mode. So it has to be in the mode you are using it in to save the parameters for that mode.
The Crios use static IPs. The default for the Roborio is to use the DHCP server. It doesn't hurt to have the DHCP server turned on if you are using static IPs. |
