Same. I've seen it in Chrome on Windows 7; I now use Firefox on Windows 10 and same thing. It'll reset every so often, but it's kind of annoying.

Sometimes the in-thread "first unread" will work, sometimes it won't.

I've been experiencing this on Chrome on Android and Firefox on Windows 7 for a few weeks now. I thought it was only me.
