Lidar Lite vs maxbotix ultrasonic

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this goes here or in the Control Systems area, but here goes.
I've been trying to find out as much as I can about the mentioned sensors, but the considerable difference in the price added to my team being added to the districts system made me think about which would be better to buy for the games.


What I'm actually asking is: Has your team or a team you know of used one of these in a game in the last few years?
