this may be a harmless coincidence but at Worlds, there was a band that came out and played before Don Bossi came out and spoke. The band had goggles on their outfits that look steampunky (I cant tell my video quality isnt great). Found it interesting

The bumper is team number 6. According to the blue alliance team 6 is the CogSquad. A cog is a wheel or bar with a series of projections on its edge that transfers motion by engaging with projections on another wheel or bar.

Personally, I think I've got a prediction as to who's going to win the Championship.
1577, 1761, 3204, and 4057 had better form an alliance this year, somewhere, somehow. (That's two steampunks and two steampunk animals.) Finalists will include 3966 and 4531 (both STEMpunk).
