Can you use 2 Van Door motors?
In the design and calculation for our robot, we we're planning to use two Atwood and 2 van door motors. We used our calculations for these motors the entire time throughout building the bot. When it came time to final assembly(which was near the time we had to ship) we heard that we we're only allowed to use 1 van door on our robot.
Because of this we switched out the van doors for the window motors. They gave us a lot of grief and it's because the machine was not design for them. I was reading through the forums and I saw somewhere that someone had used two. Is that legal? Could we have stayed with the two van doors? I would appreciate a reply even though it won't help us much now. Thanks.![]() |
