As awesome as a football game piece would be, I don't think FIRST would go with it considering they already commissioned some teams to build similar mechanisms for some NRG event: https://www.instagram.com/p/BLcMlxah...irst_official_

That's actually a really good point, when I saw those NRG event promos on twitter I hadn't thought of that, in fact I saw that as MORE of a reason why it was a football game. Hmm. But you're probably right, we need some other theory to latch on to now. Rats.
