I know FRC 2363 was taken because that format is actually the normal Virginia plate format (3 letters followed by 4 numbers). I am not sure about just 2363 though.

Cool car, Todd. Are you sure you won't lose it in the supermarket or Home Depot parking lot?

It would be really cool if they made this part of the field as the way for getting robots from one side to the other

If you come to a FRC event to see a robot competition, you are missing the point.

Re: The Triple Helix Mobile, making it loud

Unrelated to the car, but related to Making it Loud (sort of)...

We rented official FIRST field for Beach Blitz this past weekend, and on the underside of a Cheval de Frise, there was a Triple Helix sticker.

You were at Beach Blitz in spirit.

Personal vehicle. So far all mods are reversible, except maybe the wiring for the audio system.

I previously had a black car, and it was way too hot in the Virginia summers. I planned to get a white or silver one, but my wife said that was boring and too hard to spot in a parking lot. Yellow was the lightest "color" available. It wasn't until I got it home that I realized it needed to become a Triple Helix themed car.

During the field setup of the District Championship, we volunteered to do the labor of swapping out all the obsolete flip-flop ramps for the new improved design. Since we were doing the work, we slapped stickers on the underside of one ramp per defense. We were hoping we might see that field at CMP, but never found it. Good to hear it's still in use.

Re: The Triple Helix Mobile, making it loud

It is a very nice team vehicle but I wonder if the towing capacity is sufficient...
