code crash sendto: Network is unreachable
The set up we have is this DriverStation laptop wireless to Robot. Programming Laptop connected to Roborio via USB for program downloads. Every time we download code to the robot and disconnect the usb cord when we run the claw to set point command the Rio crashes and the console say
Code:
sendto: Network is unreachable 2 After the crash it works. HELP Please |

Re: code crash sendto: Network is unreachable
Does it work if you hit the reset button on the roboRIO before running the claw?
Try it without disconnecting the USB and also after disconnecting the USB tether. |

I did notice when I removed the tether the COMM light was red on the Rio. Hit the reset with no tether and worked. On a final note it seems to work fine with or with out tether after a download now. What gives? Was there some console connection created to the programing laptop each time I downloaded? |

Re: code crash sendto: Network is unreachable
So, it only happens the first time the newly downloaded code is executed?
That might mean it's an initial condition that isn't being handled. Like a sensor value variable that is garbage the first time it gets used. When you leave the tether in place is the code rebooting after the new code is downloaded? Just wondering if the old code happens to continue to run until the moment that the tether is pulled, e.g., 5 minutes later. Last edited by Mark McLeod : 10-14-2016 at 06:25 PM. |
