Anyone having issues with 16Hertz PDV from KOP. URL provided card goes basically to empty page

Our card is missing! You're up one on us. In case anyone else is missing their card, the fix is to email frcteams@firstinspires.org. The FIRST staffer I spoke with this morning said that they could put a code into TIMS for us.

Has anyone successfully used their 16Hertz PDV this year? Their website shows out of stock on the item. Is there some other link I am not aware of to order this thing?

We ordered the Arduino two weeks ago. Haven't heard anything since.

First, I'm unsure if this post will sound unappreciative, so let me state - I am extremely appreciative of all the people and companies that support FIRST and my team.

I emailed 16Hertz about the PDV last year and received an automated email stating that 'Your request has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff. To add additional comments, reply to this email.'

I have responded multiple times and these emails are totally ignored. I know they're out of stock or something, but I've suggested what I think is a fair alternative solution.

I might be ignorant about how these promotions work, and if so I'm sorry. If any of our registration fees went to 16Hertz, I hope FIRST sees how horribly this promotion went and leaves 16Hertz out of future KoPs. 16Hertz got their name out there and seemed to fulfill regular orders while failing to hold up their end of the deal.

If the Leonardo++ were completely a donation from 16Hertz I suppose FIRST should give them another chance. But promising to donate something then ignoring customer concerns about it doesn't sit right with me. I guess if this is the case, I'd have to have a neutral opinion of 16Hertz...

Does anyone have any insight into how these promotions work?

No clue how the promotions work or if 16Hertz has any partnership with FIRST, but our team tried to get the donated Leonardo on Jan 18, paid for shipping, and received a shipping confirmation with tracking number on Feb 9.

However, we never received it.

I emailed them on Feb 16 on a status update and received this:

Hi Ryan,

Due to the unexpectedly high demand, we've unfortunately ran out of stock and expect to get in another shipment mid-March.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Let me know if you'd like me to cancel your order and process a full refund of the shipping cost.

Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do.

I requested for an update on May 6 and finally asked for a shipping refund on June 20. They never contacted me back and we never were refunded.

Needless to say, I'm not satisfied with 16Hertz as a FIRST sponsor.

If you need cheap Arduinos and don't need them right now, check out Chinese bootlegs. They work just as well as the real deal and are way cheaper.
