We are past the 2900 mark.

16 resurrected vets (longest missing is from Ontario and last played 10 yrs ago)
13 new vets
235 rookie teams
2643 continuing teams
(487 missing vets or 15.6%)

Here's a chart to go with that.
You can see how the registration period has been compressed by several weeks this year.
