Re: 2016 Robot Rumble

5881 like to extend our appreciation to our partners 145, T-Rex Robotics, as well as 250 the Dynamos for a great alliance. It was a pleasure to play with you both, and we look forward to seeing you at kickoff and/or the Tech Valley Regional in March.

To 0xBE4 who hosted the event, our special thanks. It was a great event and a wonderful atmosphere, something your team, and all the volunteers, should be proud of.

See you all in STEAMWorks!

Re: 2016 Robot Rumble

On behalf of 0xBE4, thank you to all the teams and volunteers that came out this weekend for this incredible event! Special thanks to the volunteers for their dedication, enthusiasm, and expertise that they brought, we could not have done it without you!

Congratulations to all the participating teams, especially our rookies, 5881 and 5964, and our pre-rookies 6300, 6463, and 6484. All five of you performed incredibly well, and we can't wait to watch you continue to grow over the next season.

Thank you to our alliance partners, 5254 and 1124 for such a fun eliminations run. You both have incredible robots, and we had a great time working with you!

If anyone has contact information for Team 5254, please let me know. We found one of your batteries last night after you left, and would like to return it to you.

See you all next year

Sorry I somehow forgot to include 250.

Thank you so much 1124 and 3044 for joining our alliance. 1124 was absolutely incredible, if anyone hasn't seen them yet. One of my new favorite robot designs of the year. 3044 played some killer defense in eliminations that allowed us to make Finals-1 so close, and helped us make it to finals, despite not getting captures the whole time.

Smile Re: 2016 Robot Rumble

Team 195 would like to thank 0xBE4 for hosting such a great off season event. We were very impressed with the organized and efficient way your ran the day. Definitely one of the best off season events we've attended.

Everyone was pleasant and inviting and all the attending teams were so gracious. We were impressed by your efforts to include so many pre rookie teams!! Many were in attendance with borrowed robots. Great effort by the NY teams in growing first.

Had a great time with our alliance partners 2791 and 4633. Eliminations matches were so competitive and we were so impressed by teams, especially how great 1124 was playing. Kudos to the finalist 5254, 1124 and 3044. They were hard fought matches that could have gone either way.

Glad we made the trip this year and will definitely keep it on the radar for next season. Thanks again to all the organizers and volunteers who made it possible. AWESOME EVENT!

Every trip to NY we make, leaves us wanting to come back.

Team 195

Re: 2016 Robot Rumble

229 had a great time at our first Robot Rumble. We had a ton of robot issues that kept us from playing to our potential, but our kids did a great job continuing to play with what we had. Thank you for hosting!

Re: 2016 Robot Rumble

I regret that I had to miss the event, but I'd like to thank 195 for accepting our invitation to partner again and 6463 for joining us. If Battlecry is any indicator, I'm sure it was a pleasure to work with the CyberKnights again. Hopefully we'll see you both at Tech Valley next year!

Thank you to 3044 for putting on what I have been told was a fantastic event! I hope I'll be able to make it next year!

Re: 2016 Robot Rumble

Here's the custom Robot Rumble Stronghold patch 3044 gave to all the teams attending:

Re: 2016 Robot Rumble

I heard Team 20's imagery lead designed the awesome standard patch

On behalf of Team 20, I'd like to thank everyone for such a great event.
I'd especially like to thank 2791, who lent us a full case of gears after our right drivetrain gearbox shattered. Without that, it would've been a very short competition for us!
I'd also like to thank 6254 and Praetorians for forming an awesome eliminations alliance. Congrats to the winners 195, 2791, and Ulster BOCES, who'd we also like to thank for not breaking our practice robot too badly!
Overall, a very well run, laid back offseason event. Great to see and help out some of our newer pre-rookie teams as well!
