Hi! Safety captain from team 1711 here! While looking over the requirements for the safety animation video I noticed that it states:
'Be animated. Any kind of animation, including stop-motion, is allowed. Live video is allowed provided it is accompanied by virtual/augmented animated elements. Live video of people is not allowed. ' We have been considering doing a stop motion animation with people used instead of a 3D or 2D animation for our video. The requirements do state that stop motion is okay, but our concern is with using people. We do have a plan B, in case using people in the stop motion stretches it a little bit. Thoughts? |

Re: Safety Animation 2017
Using people even if through stop motion would probably get you disqualified. They are talking about stop motion via objects like legos.
