Re: GT2 Timing Pulleys
This past year we used BB Manu for some GT2 pulleys. Great service, fast shipping time. No complaints on my part. Just bore the ID and broach for 1/2" hex, but that is not a big deal.
I am however looking forward to what WCP has in store ![]() Last edited by AlexanderLuke : 24-11-2016 at 13:41. Reason: Clarification. |

Re: GT2 Timing Pulleys
3D printing timing belt pulleys to go on a 1/2 hex is pretty doable if you have reasonably high quality 3D printer. If your using a GT2 timing belts the forces are low enough that you shouldn't have issues with durability.

Re: GT2 Timing Pulleys
The actual design patents on both HTD & GT2 timing belts have expired, but the belt names are still trade marked.
There is actually a fairly good supply of these parts. Some vendors license the HTD & GT2 names, and sell them that way. There are other vendors that sell them under an in-house name that is fully compatible. Try searching with the original gates part number for any belt or pulley to find more options. |
