I'm just wanting any Indiana teams' thoughts on this next year, any predictions prior to the release of the game, or any teams that you think we should keep an eye out for. Also, post anything new that your team is doing in preparation for this year that's any different than before. Lastly, congratulations to team 1501 for hosting the State Championship this year!
Predictions before the game:
  • I'm gonna freeze my butt off here. (You didn't say they had to be *about* the game.)
  • The Kokomo YMCA's indoor pool will be very beneficial.

Teams to keep an eye out for:
I'm still working on this one--the only in-state events I've been to since I got here were Boiler Bot Battle (with a small team count and lots of B-teams) and IRI (which is, well, IRI). The only other team I'm really around much is CyberTooth (imagine that), and I think most of us would be more shocked to see them miss the show at any given event than to do well in it.

What have the Iron Kings been up to?
I wasn't around for last season, but the results speak for themselves--36th in the rankings, missed state, no hardware, one quarterfinals appearance as the second pick, and two teachers that both left the team over the off-season. So this fall has been a lot of rebuilding, from sponsors to software. We're still not to the level I'd really prefer, but seeing where things were I think it's great progress. Making playoffs and making our way to Huntington feels very plausible.
