Invitation for FIRST teams to see the Maritime Robotx Challenge

Hi, all

If there are any teams that are interested in seeing robot boats from around the world compete against each other, the Maritime RobotX Challenge will be held in Oahu from Dec. 11 to the 18th. Any teams that are in the area are welcome to come to the event and check it out first-hand. I'm an FRC/FTC mentor that is also a team member for the University of Florida's autonomous surface vehicle (ASV), the NaviGator ASV. If anyone is interested, I can also help people to get a close-up look of the NaviGator ASV and explain how it all works. Two of the seven challenges we have to complete were solved by several freshmen who are also Florida FRC alumni. For those of you who would like to watch the finals, but are not in the area, there will be a link for a live webcast on the official RobotX site. Let me know if anyone is interested or has any questions. For now, I'll leave you a promo video of the event.

Nice.
I would like to see an autonomous sailboat challenge.

Each team gets the same boat and has to program sail control, steering, other boat avoidance, navigation and sailing tactics.
