First Choice Solenoid Help

While comparing the two solenoids on First Choice I still can not figure out the difference between the two so I was wondering if I would need to purchase two of these in order to use this one and if I did I was wondering if there was any kind of estimate as to when they would be in stock.

Thanks

Re: First Choice Solenoid Help

As far as I can tell, no. Each of these will work without any other external pieces on their own. The reason they are different is because of the different models between years. If you look at the pictures of the actual items, you'll see that the 2017 valve kit has plugs built directly into the valve itself while the 2016 one has that white plastic piece missing, and thus has that external connector. Also, both of these are included in the respective rookie kits for each year (hence the 2016 was last year), and it would make little sense to require a team to purchase a simple $5 part to make this part work at all.
