Nothing against DTB, but after 9-11, I think some people might deem it inappropriate if it was ever played in public.

Anyways, there are better songs in DDR that should have been played at regionals, such as No Limits, Burning Heat, any song by TaQ, Ghosts, and So Deep

Ugh. The music at WestMI wasn't too terrible, but the music at GLR and the Championship was another story. At GLR, they played some of the worst pop recordings from the past few years. There might have been three people in the arena that were actually happy to hear Britney Spears and NSYNC. There wasn't very much that was good about the music at GLR.

The Championship's music was decent...but not on Thursday. Not only did they play terrible music (Shakira and other MTV rejects, as well as far too much rap), but they played it repeatedly. By the end of the day, I had heard some songs four times each. That's not a good sign.

Then again, I did manage to hear the Barenaked Ladies at both regionals I was at as well as the Championship. They earn brownie points for that.

With all the DDR talk here, I must inform the masses that there was a DDR Version of Sandstorm played in the competition arena once. I must've heard Sandstorm around.. 8 times.. I was in heaven That song is the greatest! Techno all the way

*I have to say that I loved all the music @ the two regionals I went to! I dont think I heard any 1 song 2-ice! (I went to the Central Florida Regional in Orlando, Florida and the Granite State Regional in Manchester, New Hampshire) I loved it all!
*But I must say that the first day @ nationals, the music on the Curie side...I heard alot of the same songs over and over again! (I mean these were good songs...dont get me wrong, but they did get old when they were being played over and over again!) But even though, I had a KrUnChIn' good time scouting and chillin with my team that wonderful day of practicing. See, the way I look @ it now is that I learned some new songs and my teammate - who doesnt listen to my type of music, *PeTeR*, did also; so it was all around a good thing for all! So the DJ @ nationals on the Curie side...I think you did an awesome job and I loved all the songs you played!! Thank you for helping me to get my fellow team mate knowing @ least the chorus to one of my songs! You started out awesome, but only got better as the competition went on! *RoCk On!!*

I have almost everything made by Taq ^^;. He's an awesome techno artist. Paul Van Dyk and Airbase are awesome too if you like more trance like stuff.

The music at the Regionals and Nationals were well picked I think, It was hilarious to have half of my team singing Avril though .

For your info - all of hte fields at Championship were being fed the same music feed. The sound person had control of levels. We did have an awsome sound guy at Curie field and he did a great job adjusting volumes. He really helped pump up Curie, the best field at Championships!!!

Yeah, especially when he cut the volume of the music so our MC's and crowd could sing certain lines

I'm a judgmental music fan, but I'll admit, the music wasn't terrible. I was really surprised to hear that old 90s dance music. Ask everyone on 25 or anyone on Curie, the three girls in the Hawaiian shirts were singing and dancing to it all!

Ah, the rock appreciation at its finest.
