Just noticed on my FIRST Dashboard (I'm our primary contact) - FIRST has a new page they call "Spotlight" - "Tell us more about yourself and your team. All fields are optional."
There's a field for your robot name and uploading a robot picture. You also get 255 characters each for each of these fields:
- Team strengths
- Most significant challenge overcome
- Robot and game strategy
- Briefly describe your team history
- Team effort promoting FIRST
- Team effort promoting STEM education
- Team's community involvement
- Team sustainability and fundraising effort
There's also a printable version of the page, and a drop down menu for "Team Award History" that's just blank for us.
My thinking is that this page is meant to be a unified solution for the questions we get asked at events - I know sometimes they ask us to fill out an info sheet about the team.
FIRST has also added a "Payment History" page. I can't tell if this is for me or the team, as it seems to be grouped with my personal information. Maybe a response to a
recent thread regarding confusion with their FIRST account.
