Connector on Andymark Hall Effect Sensor

Can anyone tell me if I can buy a connector for

http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-2816a.htm

Specifically, one that I can attach ribbon cable to in order to have a direct line from this motor to the TalonSRX

Link directly here for your cable: http://www.andymark.com/product-p/am-2993.htm

You'll have to get a SRX cable, chop the end off and correctly solder in the above cable to work with a SRX.

Re: Connector on Andymark Hall Effect Sensor

That's not what I want.

I want to not solder. I have breakout boards so I'd rather solder to that, but if I can find an IDC connector then I can just snap in a cable and be good

Re: Connector on Andymark Hall Effect Sensor

My team was in the progress of putting together a drivetrain using the Andymark swerve modules (am-3009) and were faced with the same problem, as the modules use hall effect sensors on the steering motors. We wanted to connect them directly to the TalonSRX's just as you do, and we ended up just using breakout boards; I'm guessing we could not find any of the cables you are looking for.

Re: Connector on Andymark Hall Effect Sensor

if you get the above noted cable cut the power pole connectors off and solder to breakout board you would be done

Can you post a photo of your wiring for the complete set up?

Trust me You're definitely going to need to custom make the connector

Are you just not good at soldering, or do you not want to?
