Protect your eyes.
Protect your hands.
Protect your body.
Protect your ears.
Protect the machine.
Protect your work.

In that order. No part is worth a lifetime of disability. Parts are replaceable, machines are repairable, but you are not.

Well said.... In my opinion being rested and well fed allows anyone to make better decisions. PPE is a help in staying safe but your actions and the actions of others are really what keeps you from getting hurt or hurting others.
