Re: [TBA] Looking Back: 10 Years of The Blue Alliance
TBA has evolved to become a critical aspect of every team's FRC experience. Telling someone to look up information on TBA has become akin to telling them to "Google it", all thanks to the hardworking and dedicated folks working on The Blue Alliance.
Thank you all so much for your continued support of the FIRST community and this amazing project. We can't wait to see where it goes next. |

Re: [TBA] Looking Back: 10 Years of The Blue Alliance
FRC just wouldn't have been the same for me when I was a student, if I didn't have such easy access to match archives. Being able to look back at the history of the team and watch how my team would get better and better every year was inspiring.

TBA is a perfect example of a what good website/resource should be; easy to use, aesthetically pleasing, and tremendously helpful. You guys have done nothing but amazing work so far

Re: [TBA] Looking Back: 10 Years of The Blue Alliance
I still remember Greg and Tom showing us how to wire an electrical panel on the very first ever TBA instructional video. Where's the emote for old fogeys?

Ohh man splicing up match videos and uploading it to that FTP server... That brings me back.
TBA continues to be the best online resource for FIRST teams, thanks TBA! |

Re: [TBA] Looking Back: 10 Years of The Blue Alliance
I'm still pretty new to this whole "FRC" thing (I mean, what's a year in FRC time?), but TBA has been an absolutely invaluable resource to so many, and I'm glad I use it on a regular basis, as well as had the opportunity to help with some of their projects, even if my stuff doesn't always work first time.
Shout out to Phil, Greg and Eugene of TBA for keeping it up, and keeping it awesome. I look forward to the new (old?) APIv3, and the increasingly awesome features TBA seems to add every season. Insights seems especially awesome, and it would be incredibly cool if it was possible to select different methods of prediction, given different models. Here's to another 10. ![]() Last edited by tjf : 06-01-2017 at 19:04. Reason: (I FORGOT GREG!) |

Re: [TBA] Looking Back: 10 Years of The Blue Alliance
TBA has been a great way for me to stay involved with FIRST while in college. I'd like to thank Greg and Eugene for being welcoming to me and for all the other members of the community who have been so great to work with!
Most importantly of all, thanks to everybody who has submitted video links, robot pictures, event data, feature requests, or anything else. TBA is a community driven project and it wouldn't be anywhere near as successful if it wasn't for all of you. I can't wait to see what the next 10 years will bring! |

Re: [TBA] Looking Back: 10 Years of The Blue Alliance
What else can I say but that when I type the letter t in search bars at home and work, the first thing that comes up is thebluealliance.com? TBA is absolutely the go-to site for well-formed historical FRC info.
