Go to Post The GDC probably took bets on how many posts they could get off of a random CAD render, and bonus points for how many people go insane from thinking about it! :yikes: - gallo26 [more]

Question We're all TIED up.

Team 3525 is wondering if anyone has any information on the rope situation for this year's game. We are aware that Field staff will set up and take down the rope (if it is your team's personal rope), but we're wondering if they allow you to take the rope with you (while attached to the bot) so you can undo it in your pit. If anyone has any information remotely relevant to our question, PLEASE let us know

R08's blue box may be of some help to you.

Re: We're all TIED up.

If you supply your own rope you can remove it from the field with your robot still attached.

Re: We're all TIED up.

I remember reading something about this in the rulebook. it is my understanding that this IS legal. R08 on pg 65-66 should answer your question.
