Go to Post I don't fully buy into the 'we're all winners' concept. That is a broad statement that doesn't really say much. How did we become all winners? What did we do to become winners? Pay an expensive registration fee and participate in a robotic competition? - JaneYoung [more]

Vision in 2017

Heyo all,

As a moderately experienced programmer in Labview, it just so happens that the one spot were I lack knowledge is in vision processing. As my team would like to do a shooter this year, I was wondering if anyone out there could give me (or link me for that matter) some advice or videos on how I might go about getting started with vision. Anything that is relevant to this year would help (i.e. basic vision identification of the high efficiency boiler).

Thank You,
Graham Cochrane

Look at the LabVIEW examples. They are located int he help area. There is a vision program written for this years game in there. It will definitely get you started.

There is also a tutorial in LabView that tells you how to copy the 2017 example code directly into your robot_main too.
