Climbing Mechanism

By reading through the rule book it never said anything about not being able to have a loop on the bottom of the rope to grab onto. Is this allowed???

F. if knotted, the top knot must be at least 29 in. (~74 cm) below the retaining knot/feature

G. if knotted or looped, the total diameter does not exceed 10 in. (~25 cm)
