FIRST Q&A Account Glitching
So we signed up for an account on the FIRST Q&A Site... Entered the code from the dashboard, and it now shows affiliated with a team.
The problem is the team it affiliated to is FRC 67, not 5881. We definitely got the code right.... Anyone else having this glitch before I try to get ahold of FIRST? |

Re: FIRST Q&A Account Glitching
The Q&A system doesn't officially open until noon eastern, so I'd hold off until then before reaching out to FIRST.

I had the same issue originally with Firefox, but Chrome worked. |

Hi Bdaroz, Creator of the new Q&A system here. It looks like you entered your authorization code into the team number field on your User Dashboard since your code starts with 67 the system truncated the non-numeric portion of your code and associated your account with team 67. To remedy the situation, click the UnAffiliate button on your User Dashboard (its yellow/orange) then you'll be able to enter your FRC Team number (5881) then enter your authorization code. Hope this helps |

Can you tell me what browser you were using and what the version is so we can do some testing? Thanks |

Re: FIRST Q&A Account Glitching
Here's an example. The Create button does nothing in this picture.

I had the same problem, but found the account was created anyway, I just had to log in.

There also might be some combination of Firefox page refresh or re-navigating to the page that would work. Yes, refreshing the Firefox page afterwards made the Login work (it complained when I refreshed about a connection issue). Last edited by Mark McLeod : 11-01-2017 at 10:22. |
