I'm proud that we moved and had auto mode in every match we played, and that we won half of our qual matches.

My 3 proudest moments ...
1. winning Engineering Inspiration at GLR
2. discovering that our robot could right itself
3. being chosen to lead such an awesome team

That was awesome, disapointing that we didn't win though because we were in the final match, team 60's alliance was better in the end. They did a great job.

I am also proud that the fram e i welded didn't brake and that our team worked together this year without any huge arguments about the design. We turned ourselves around and plan to do even better next year!

This year was exectional for our team. There are many standout moments for us . Howver, the one that is brightest for me occurred during Nationals. Our next door neighbors, Team 41, were having a seriously hard weekend. They had little help from their sponser. No mentors. A poorly performing robot. To look at them, you saw a small group of kids who were totally uninspired. They even hung an air freshener on there bot with a sign saying, "We stink" We took notice and decided to try to bring them up. We helped them fix a few of their mechanical problems. That nite, we had a few of our students make buttons for them, made a special "Robbie Award" for "Never say die". The next morning wee made sure we were there first, set out the buttons , ther "Robbie" and some other cool handouts we had. When their team started coming in, and saw what lay before them they were so excited. To see them smile was the best moment I had that weekend.

My proudest moment was when all sorts of people said that it wasn't possible for a robot to hit the bins in under 3 seconds unless they were an arm bot and we showed up at nationals and hit them in 2.8 or under EVERY match(except the one where we put a delay in for our arm bot partner) and we had countless people in our pit asking about our drive train and how we did it.

My proudest moment(s) would have to be the end of qualifying matches on Saturday, looking up at the ranking screens, waiting for the "Recalculating Rank" to be finished, and there we were....6th seed in Curie, going from 47th out of 53 at the Midwest Regional to 6th out of 73 and finishing in the top 32 alliances in the nation was just awesome.

Another one would have to be coming out of Reliant Stadium after our last match on Friday when we got 218QPs, we successfully defended a 5 stack and were just rolling......we started the walk out and I was waving our Cooney flag and the team, waiting right outside the field entrance, caught a glipse of it and was just cheering and we all walked back to the pits and I looked over to one of my team mates and said, "You know we've quadrupled our win total from nats last year" and we laughed and said "This is a success, whatever goes on from here"

I'm just proud of my team in general, we failed, fixed, succeeded, and had fun.

I'm proud that we were one of the few teams to successfully stack multiple times.

Growth

I'm most proud of our seniors and the people they've become. These uniquely motivated and gifted leaders have been the driving force behind our organization for the past four years. Becoming a complete team, expanding what we do, and giving back to the local and FIRST community are all due, in part, to our 2003 senior leaders. Seeing them (along with the entire team)recognized with the Championship Chairman's Award was the proudest moment in my career as an educator.

two words....Andy Baker

also , our team as a whole really came together this season and i feel that we had a really competitive robot...besides the reliability problems.

i had a few. ONe is placiing so high at regionals (3rd overall). Our paw scouting system(thanks dan). The orgizantion with are team this year was great. But my almost was when we where place fifth at regionals and we went up against the first place(233 pink) and the 7th place team (forget who) and are team members blew there transmision and so we where by ourselves. We went up on are auto and it messed up so we got no boxes in auto. Then we went over and fought with pink for about 30-45 seconds to knock over there stack that would of killed us by alot. We finally knocked it over and then we went up to the top of the ramp pushed of pink and lost by 16 points but i was still proud

Has to be us winning two regionals, but yet helping 1086 with their robot and cheering them on was a great highlight too.
