Just to clarify the 9001 number is approximately the speed we were able to get the wheel to spin at, we didn't try too hard to go much faster than that, but I don't see a need to ever run the wheel faster than that. The Maximum RPM is supposed to convey that the wheel will not catastrophically fail and will still be a wheel at that speed. It is NOT the recommended shooter wheel speed because that calculation has about a dozen variables in it. You will notice that the red 2 inch wheel has a lower Maximum RPM (6000). Above that it is no longer round. It deforms unevenly and turns into a flap.

If teams are thinking of using this as a shooter wheel or fast intake wheel we have posted a chart comparing RPM to diameter for both the blue 4 inch and the black 4 inch. There is no chart for the red 2 inch one because below 6000 RPM it only expands about 0.1in
