What's the best tutorial for using LabView and Java?
I'm a newbie at programming for robots, and my team is planning on using Labview and Java. We really don't know where to begin, so whats the best way to learn Java quickly and use labview efficiently? Preferably by February 21st

Re: What's the best tutorial for using LabView and Java?
Here's one resource I've found useful for learning Labview http://www.frcmastery.com/
It's a bit out of date but it's very easy to digest for a good foundation. Another great LabView resource to study is Team 358's website: http://team358.org/files/programming...2009-/LabVIEW/ Last edited by BitTwiddler : 12-01-2017 at 23:58. Reason: More info |

The Secret Book of FRC LabVIEW is really good! Version 1.0 is on post number 21.
Of course wpilib.screenstepslive.com is always a good resource for anything related to the control system or programming. |

Re: What's the best tutorial for using LabView and Java?
We've recently been watching a series of YouTube videos by Jim Chastain a mentor for team 2550.
This is a good starting point, but look for his other videos too. |

Another way is to work through the tutorials that come with LabVIEW and ask questions when you're not sure about something. The community is very eager to help each other and get you on a path towards a successful competition.
