2017 Robot Volume

Hey everyone! I hope this post finds you all well, working on your 'bots.

Team #3197 has a question concerning the maximum robot volumes. We know that the volumes, per G04 are as such:

36 in x 40 in x 24 in high

OR

30 in x 32 in x 36 in high

Our concern is that if you could 'shift' the volume so that a robot's volume would be, say, 36 high by 40 by 24 long, etc.

Personally I feel like the 24 in height is mandatory (unless you fall under that, obviously), but I would feel better with a second opinion. And yes, I know that this is not the official FRC Q&A forum, however that does not like to cooperate a majority of the time.

Thank you all!
Team #3197
