Ugh. We meet M through F and a longer session on Saturday. For our first ten working sessions, three lost to weather.

On the brighter side we did have a very productive Saturday session. Mechanisms roughed into wooden prototypes and a surprisingly effective lifter cobbled together from a CIM motor, a Harbor Freight hand winch and a surplus gear box from a CNC tool changer! I would not let a student serve as test subject but one of our mentors, who exceeds the expected lift weight by at least 30 pounds, was hoisted rather effectively. So there's that.

Snowbound again.
