Canadian Part Numbers for FRP and Spring
In the event you're looking for the Canadian source for FRP sheet try here https://www.homedepot.ca/en/home/p.f...000154234.html
If you want to order the springs from a Canadian distributor, rather than McMaster Carr, check out https://www.essentracomponents.ca/sku/ES-241 Jason |

Re: Canadian Part Numbers for FRP and Spring
In US, there is:
- - http://www.homedepot.com/p/12-in-x-5...-1-K/205735697 - http://www.homedepot.com/p/4-ft-x-8-...9600/100389836 Both go by abbreviation of "FRP", but one is Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic while other is described as Fiberglass Reinforced Panel or Polymer. Are we talking same thing here? Rande J. FRC 4931 |

What is the FRP for?

Re: Canadian Part Numbers for FRP and Spring
It goes in the loading chute, and it's designed to make the coefficient of friction of the ramp surface like that of the official ones. (Teams that were around in 2015 remember the wooden team version tote chute released the totes very differently from how the production ones did, because the wood ones slowed the bins down.)

Re: Canadian Part Numbers for FRP and Spring
We got FRP at home depot, but are wondering is it bumpy side up, or smooth side up? Bumpy is much faster, and the gear barely moves on the smooth side. Anyone else seeing this?

Re: Canadian Part Numbers for FRP and Spring
In the one I've seen at Kickoff (built by people I trust do this right), bumpy side up. This would jive with the chute being slick, much as the tote chutes were in 2015.
