Just to clarify the 900
1 number is approximately the speed we were able to get the wheel to spin at, we didn't try too hard to go much faster than that, but I don't see a need to ever run the wheel faster than that. The Maximum RPM is supposed to convey that the wheel will not catastrophically fail and will still be a wheel at that speed. It is NOT the recommended shooter wheel speed because that calculation has about a dozen variables in it. You will notice that the red 2 inch wheel has a lower Maximum RPM (6000). Above that it is no longer round. It deforms unevenly and turns into a flap.
If teams are thinking of using this as a shooter wheel or fast intake wheel we have posted a chart comparing RPM to diameter for both the
blue 4 inch and the
black 4 inch. There is no chart for the red 2 inch one because below 6000 RPM it only expands about 0.1in
