Use of rope with velcro
So if i'm reading this right we should be able to use a regular rope that is easy to tie a retaining knot in and just sew velcro the entire length of the rope as long as you get the sticky stuff off, right?

Re: Use of rope with velcro
There are already multiple threads discussing velcro in detail, I suggest you check them out first!
Also, don't "get the sticky stuff off" - get velcro with no adhesive backing to begin with. |

Re: Use of rope with velcro
Welcome to Chief delphi!
I would recommend reading the numerous other threads about ropes and velcro. I think your questions are answered there. I would also say it's not about getting the sticky stuff off, it's about finding velcro that never had sticky stuff on it. You won't be able to get it all off (easily). links: https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...ghlight=velcro https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...ghlight=velcro https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...ghlight=velcro https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...ghlight=velcro https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...ghlight=velcro https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...ghlight=velcro |
