I have a few questions for 148:
  • Why did they cover their prototype with a chainsaw and not a bench grinder? Everyone knows bench grinders are superior.
  • Are they using an omni-directional drivetrain?
  • Do they predict that they will be able to achieve 4 RP often with their design?

Re: [RSN] check_in Week 3: We Want Your Questions!

Questions for 148:

Are you pursuing a gear floor intake?
Will your gear mechanism be entirely passive?
Will you be able to hold > 60 balls?
Are you pursuing a shooter design that can shoot more than one ball?
Are you pursuing a robot design with multiple shooters?
Are you pursuing a turreted shooter design?
Are you using velcro on your rope for your climber?

There are tons more y/n questions I could ask, but at the moment I cannot think of any more important questions.

Fish Burritos are a thing and should totally replace free corndogs and cheesecake as the official FIRST meme.

Re: [RSN] check_in Week 3: We Want Your Questions!

I would like to make an argument in favor of the burrito. Contrary to the taco, it generally is much more portable and less likely to end up on your plate/lap. And it also has a better balance of carb to protein (with the addition of rice and beans) and does not have the abomination known as shredded lettuce, which adds nearly nothing to the dish, besides maybe a bit of crunch. I will, however, say that the hard shell taco has its own merits, but burritos have a clear advantage over soft shell tacos.

Fixed that for you.

With tacos, you can go cheap and still get a great taco. You can also go ridiculously yummy. Imagine some of those as a burrito... heebee jeebies ...

That's because you have burritos EVERY DAY. You don't have to wait for some special day of the week to get an excuse. They are the everyman's every day every meal option.

Also, fish burritos are totally a thing.

Also also, unless you're posting about tacos from San Diego or Tijuana, I don't wanna hear it.

In Oceanside, CA for work, which is about 40 min north of San Diego. Ordered a combo burrito and taco plate. Burrito was much more delicious and easier to eat.

You're only 40 minutes away from having your opinion on this issue matter!

I haven't ever actually been to Oceanside, so I don't know if the good Mexican food has migrating that far up.
