Rough top treads delamination
Has anyone experienced delamination of rough top treads. Last yr we used wedgetop and had no problems. Testing today with roughtop lead to failure in a short time period.

Re: Rough top treads delamination
I've never seen this before, but I haven't used roughtop tread extensively. If this was new tread, I would suggest contacting Vex or AndyMark if you bought it from there; they usually like to know when their products don't work and may even send you a replacement.

Re: Rough top treads delamination
Yes, we had some rough top treads delaminate in 2013.
After that we switched to blue nitrile and never had that problem again. All belting we've used for wheel treads eventually wears down. Aggressive driving wears them down faster. Be prepared to change treads at least once at every event; more if you know you'll be driving hard. |
