Java Programming - Cannot Deploy

Hey all,

I'm having some trouble deploying Java code to the RIO. I've reimaged the RIO, reinstalled the JDK, reinstalled eclipse, reinstalled WPIlib, and am still having the issue. The error was an ImageRegExFail on RIO image matching. Also, the deploy takes forever compared to last year's.

Thanks,
5421

Re: Java Programming - Cannot Deploy

What is your OS ?
Do you see connection in driverstation ?
When you said RIO, do you said roboRio or the old RIO ?

Re: Java Programming - Cannot Deploy

Check you're using the 2017 Version of the RoboRIO imaging tool.

If you're absolutely sure it's correct, a quick google search yields this thread

RoboRIO
When you connect through the driver station, it should tell you which image version is installed on the roboRIO. Make sure this is 2017 v8. Also make sure you've updated your Eclipse plugins. In the latest update, there might have been a change that affected it (- Fix RoboRIO image version detection in presence of EOL in configuration).
