Alignment Target Under Return Loading Stations
Hey CD,
Quick question. I was wondering, would it be legal to place some sort of object under each return loading station, for the driver/robots to manually align to using vision? H12 allows non-powered signaling devices, and it would just be something that gets stuck underneath each "slide" so the drivers can line up with the middle of the slide. Do you think that would be allowable under H12? Second question, if we were to put vision tape on it to automatically line up instead of the drivers doing it manually, how much would the tape have to "not look like vision guides" so that it is legal enough for rule H12? Thanks ![]() |

Re: Alignment Target Under Return Loading Stations
There was actually a Q&A question about this the other day. (Found by going to the Q&A and searching "Vision target".)
TLDR; it's fine to use a non-powered signalling device, provided you don't stick it to the field per G01, and if it interferes with another robot then you're violating H12. |
