legality of PG gearmotors with obsolete part numbers

Below is the text of an email exchange with AndyMark tech support, PM me if you would like me to forward you the email in case you are considering using the same parts and need to show documentation to the inspector. I'm going to communicate this to the other LRI's as well. Please note the answer is for these specific obsolete part numbers - there are a lot of different PG part numbers with different motor combinations.

Hi - 2 questions regarding old gearmotors we have.

1) I have an am-0914 gearmotor that says "PG71 w/ RS775 Motor" on the label. Is the motor on this gearmotor the same as am-2161 (RS775-5), a legal motor for FRC this year?
2) I have an am-0915 PG27 gearmotor. Is the motor on this gearmotor the same as am-2194 (RS775-125), a legal motor for FRC this year?
The descriptions for those motors indicate that they are the replacement motors for the PG's, but I can't find anywhere in the description of the old PG part numbers what the motors are.

Thanks

Hi Gary
1) yes, those two motors are the same
2) yes, another match

Please let me know if there is more I can help with.
Thanks
Danny
