And yes, this is the correct way to go about verifying a products legality. There's no need to go to the Q&A. We've heard of other random actuators teams find with built in motors. Some teams say "it looked like a CIM motor when we opened it"... but that's not good enough. You need to contact the manufacturer and get a statement from them identifying the part number for that motor so you can verify and prove its legality.
