ROBORIO CPU utilization with default project 50% high?

We have started our code development, and was concerned our project was running at 80%.

As part of the testing, we did find some issues and cleaned up and now have no errors in the drivers station or vision running and we are 80%, we plan on doing some vision processing on the roborio.

We loaded the default project and the base project runs at 50% CPU, does that sound right?

Re: ROBORIO CPU utilization with default project 50% high?

Are you looking at the Log File Viewer or at the active plot on the Driver Station?
In the Log File Viewer my default project runs at 20% while Disabled and ~36% while Enabled.

Re: ROBORIO CPU utilization with default project 50% high?

Yes, we went with the driver station log, and viewer. We also have been having the weird DIO and Analog issue talked about here. https://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/s...d.php?t=154205

But that seemed to be resolved with a full format and reflash of the new firmware.

It still doesn't feel right, but it's not tossing errors in the DS log, and everything is working, but still have concerns.

Re: ROBORIO CPU utilization with default project 50% high?

Tested on a 2nd RIO last night and the default project ran the same as yours Mark, not sure what is going on with the First RIO?

That's definitely curious. Are they on the same image and firmware?
