My team needs some help with basic programing

Hello, I am the team manager for my robotics team and our programing group seems to be having alot of troubles and would like some guidence on how to program. Long story short we lost our main programer and now we are starting from scratch. The programing group have been trying to work off of resources online. (YouTube videos, programing tutorials, ext...) And they seem to be making some basic progress but well now we are getting into a time crunch wanting to be able to test our robot once it is completed. They don't realy even know how to just make a motor spin.(not that I do at all from what I can tell it is very difficult) they have been working off of our programs from last year that worked and have made a little progress there. And they have been using robot builder to help them make the code. Just please any help with programing would be greatly appreciated! I've been having them try to figure it out on their own with the internet as their guide for a learning experience but now we just need help. If there are any skilled or just basic knowledge programers that could help our team with learning programing basicly from scratch, we would be greatly appreciated! Please help and thanks.

Best bet at this point would be contacting nearby teams, to see if they have someone available to help you.

Thanks! I am sure we will be down sooner rather than later. It has become a timing issue now....
