For the most part, your your robot will be on the side closer to your own drivers. Your airship (which you score gears on and climb the rope) is on your drivers' half of the field. Your boiler is the one next to your driver station. However, the feeder station is on the opposite side of the field in your opponent's launchpad.

Essentially, all scoring will be done close to your driver station. Getting gears/fuel from the feeder station and (probably) most defense will be played on the side far from your driver station.

Note the diagram at the beginning of section 3.1 for a pretty self-explanatory diagram
