Run program on startup

I have an executable that is already built that I need to run on startup for the Jetson TK1. The only problem is that I have added it to the startup programs in Ubuntu, but it does not work. I have confirmed that it works in the command line, but it does not work whenever I restart or turn on the Jetson. Has anybody gotten it to work and how?

Re: Run program on startup

Can you provide more details on how you added it to the startup programs? Was this through the means of a GUI, or /etc/init.d or something else?
