Re: How do you program the navx mxp in labview?

The LabView installation link doesn't seem to work. I downloaded the library from GitHub, but where do I install it?

You can get the navX Device Library from
http://www.pdocs.kauailabs.com/navx-mxp/software/

Download the zip, and run the setup.exe within it. It will install everything you need.

There is a tutorial a couple of links under that page

Which is why I said it doesn't work. Downloading the library directly from GitHub does work, but where do we install it?

Just found out there was a temporary file that was corrupted on the download site, so please download it again and run the setup.exe which will install everything into the proper place.

Do we need to set a device number on the navX Main in Robot Main?

Re: How do you program the navx mxp in labview?

No, you do not need to wire anything to the Device Number or the Update inputs per the video tutorial linked to above.

Jonathan is correct. The only time you need to wire the device number up is if you are using multiple navX devices on a robot, in which case you need to use the device number to identify which of the multiple navX devices you are communicating with.
