After the event - Life of the Airship
Many of you have build 1/2 and full copies of the Airship.
What are you going to do with them? Like -- Goes to someones back yard to be the coolest fort ever? -- Saving it for the end of season party to do a "Burning Man" style Bonfire. -- Our field mentor is going to take it apart to save the $520 worth of materials for next years elements -- Going to be in the shop in the way of next years build team |

Re: After the event - Life of the Airship
This is a mighty fine question, and Talon Robotics has no idea.
We have built two field specification Airships for our week zero event. We hope that some of the Minnesota offseason events make use of them, or even as practice fields for our state championship (we brought our field last year too). Fact remains, we will salvage all the polycarbonate from it, but we are at a bit of a loss in regards to the steel. |

Re: After the event - Life of the Airship
Our team only built a half airship so we are going to use it as a table/work space in our shop after the season.

Re: After the event - Life of the Airship
We are crossing our fingers and hoping some of the teams at our week zero event want field elements.
More realistically they will be at least partially disassembled and put into storage to hopefully reuse next year. |

Re: After the event - Life of the Airship
We're planning to fly ours around at football games in the fall.
